It's Ryan from Superhuman Lab. Our goal at Superhuman Lab is to be the best in manual therapy and always go the extra mile for our clients. To achieve this goal we are constantly testing new concepts and rolling out new ideas for our clients. I'm excited to share a revolutionary concept that has emerged called Reflexive Performance Reset (RPR).
What Is RPR?
You are under constant stress, which is interpreted as survival mode by your body. When in survival mode your body utilizes harmful compensation patterns which can lead to injury. RPR™ resets the body out of survival mode and into performance mode. RPR is not meant to treat injuries but rather a technique to find compensation patterns, reduce pain, increase flexibility and help your body become more resilient to injury.
What Can I Expect From My RPR Session?
RPR focuses on finding your "cheats" to know how you are compensating, we do this by testing the resiliency of your muscles. The session itself involves hitting these points which can be uncomfortable and not unusual for you to be sore the next day. As part of the complexity of compensation patterns the body also has a way of processing stressors. It is not uncommon for this to trigger a range of responses from laughing, crying, fidgeting, feeling light headed, sweaty, and even a sense of unfamiliar calm after the session.
